National Seminar on India's New Education Policy 2020 at Lords University: Diving into the knowledge-sharing journey!

"The destiny of India hinges on the new education policy, and to shape it, collective efforts at both theoretical and practical levels are imperative," emphasized Prof. Jitendra Lodha. Currently serving as the Assistant Project Director of RUSA, Jaipur, Prof. Lodha shared this perspective. Speaking as the keynote speaker at the one-day national seminar "New Education Policy 2020" held at Lords University, Professor Lodha highlighted the significance of collaborative efforts.

The seminar served as an insightful platform for academicians, researchers, and educators to discuss the various aspects and dimensions of this transformative policy. The seminar featured a diverse range of presentations including more than 70 research papers, 20 impactful oral presentations, and 25 poster presentations by numerous participants provided an invaluable opportunity to analyze the policy's implications, challenges, and potential contributions to India's education landscape.

Dr. Savita Gupta, the seminar's convenor, mentioned that participants from various states across the nation attended the event, organized by the Education Department of Lords University. The opening session was chaired by Prof. Suresh Chandra Joshi, the Vice Chancellor of Lauders University. He mentioned the university's ongoing efforts to initiate new programs. Prof. Pankaj Arora, the Registrar of the University, presented an overview of the university. Prof. Sneh Saiwal, the Academic Dean, underscored the significance of these seminars and advocated for their consistent conduct. Dr. Suman Chowdhary, a special guest, elaborated on various aspects of the new education policy. Mr. Suresh Sharma, Head of the Education Department at Lords University, elucidated the seminar's outline.

The seminar explored the policy's far-reaching impact on various sectors of education. The discussions revolved around several key themes like-  Early Childhood care and Education, Foundation Literacy and Numeracy, Curtailing Drop out Rates, and Ensuring Universal Access to Education, Equitable and inclusive education, and other, each highlighting critical aspects of the policy's implementation. At the conclusion of the seminar, the recipients of the research paper presentation, poster presentation, and oral presentation awards were honored.

By bringing together experts and scholars from diverse backgrounds, the National Seminar on the New Education Policy 2020 at Lords University facilitated enriching conversations, critical insights, and thoughtful analyses. The seminar undoubtedly contributed to fostering a deeper understanding of the policy's potential, challenges, and its role in shaping the future of education in India.
