International Yoga Day, celebrated annually on June 21st, is a global initiative that promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals through yoga. This year, Lords University actively participated in commemorating the Ninth International Yoga Day following the theme 'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' effectively encapsulating our collective aspiration for 'One Earth, One Family, and One Future. 

The vibrant and enriching celebration of International Yoga Day within our university emphasized the importance of yoga in fostering a holistic approach to wellness among students, faculty, and staff.

The day started with a series of yoga asanas led by certified yoga instructors catering to participants of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The participants performed various yoga forms such as Hatha, Vinyasa, and Kundalini, providing a diverse range of experiences for participants. Along with the asanas, attendees were introduced to different yoga techniques, breathing exercises, and meditation practices, promoting physical fitness, stress reduction, and mental clarity.
